A ride with friends

Today was my one of my days off from my stay in Regina. I was home in B.C. where there are actual mountains so in the morning I went with Rob, Dave and Tim to The Woodlot for a rip on my favorite trails.

Rob was ever so kind enough to pick me up early in the morning and drive to our destination. Once we were all gathered together at the bottom we decided on our route: Dinsdale Piranha, Cabin Trail, Snakes and Ladders, Hoots and Shotgun.

This was the first time that both Dave and Tim had ridden Dinsdale and they were rather surprised by where it was and how much fun it really was to ride. It is nothing special or spectacular, but there really is something special about flowing down a ribbon of loam for a minute or two.

Cabin was a rip. Dave was shown where the cabins were along the trail and he was quite shocked that he had never seen them in the past. Snakes and Ladders was freaking awesome. It was the first time I had ridden the new teeter totter and it was as smooth as silk.

Up to Hoots it was and finally Shotgun. I was on my big bike and had a hoot riding over everything mowing down everything in my path.

Overall the ride was awesome. No wipe outs and everyone had a smile on their face.
